Our brief for this client was to create a corporate identity for this firm of genealogists that would reflect and portray the nature of this complex and involved subject. The identity also had to work on two levels, firstly with the public, but also on a professional footing as they often work on behalf of legal firms. We produced many and varied concepts, but one strong theme was ‘people’ as their work was all about tracing individuals. The concept we developed and settled on showed illustrations of people, representing all age groups, with one illustration featured in a different colour to represent people being traced and found. The logotype was completed by a strapline ‘tracing heirs & beneficiaries worldwide’.
